Yes you read it correct. With SolidWorks 2012 Beta testing is in full swing and version Beta 2.0 available for download, the testing will be over soon. The official release dates for the SolidWorks 2012 has not been released yet but it is expected to come up in first week of September which means only few days left to participate and win prizes.

Participating and Downloading Beta:
The programs indicated are only open to customers with an active Subscription Service contract. Register for Beta by creating a Customer Portal account or update your existing account settings to join Beta. Select “Notify me of Beta Programs” in your Customer Portal profile.
Your SolidWorks Subscription Service status must be valid and active in order to participate in Beta Programs.
