CAMWorksXpress is an ideal solution for programmers and machinists, as well as new users, who are looking for an easy to learn and easy to use 2.5D machining CAM package. CAMWorksXpress is powerful yet inexpensive and since it incorporates feature based machining and model associativity, significantly reduces programming time.

CAMWorksXpress runs seamlessly inside SolidWorks and provides the high-powered features required for machining efficiently. The software package also includes other features such as; 32 and 64 bit versions; reduced automatic toolpath updates; optimized toolpaths; ability to generate CNC code with a few clicks; importing design models from common file formats such as IGES, SAT, ACIS, etc; automatic feature recognition; a library of post processors for leading CNC controllers and unlimited upgrade paths to CAMWorks

Geometric Technologies will be demonstrating CAMWorksXpress at the SolidWorks World 2012 at the San Diego Convention Center, February 12 – February 15, 2012, San Diego, CA at booth 524.
