“The CSWE Event” at Solidworks World 2013

With less than 2 weeks left for SolidWorks World 2013 which will be held January 20-23, 2013 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in Orlando, Florida, I’m fully excited for the CSWE Event.

The CSWP event was officially retired at SolidWorks World 2012 while there was an announcement for the first ever CSWE Event. So this year at SolidWorks World 2013, the event will be exclusively for only  Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) attendees. Even the press members and SoldiWorks employees won’t get past the door at the event! Check the post and comments from Mike and Matt on Jeff Mirisola Blog

A Certified SolidWorks Expert is someone who easily demonstrates the ability to utilize advanced functions and features to solve complex modeling challenges.

So what is so special about this first ever CSWE Event.

Here is what Mike said about this event:

” This years party will be the Rock N Roll N Racing CSWE Event at SolidWorks World 2013.  Everyone in attendance at the event will receive an exclusive door prize (designed in SolidWorks of course), and an exclusive collectable laminate badge.  We’re also kicking up the prize give away’s this year as well.  We’ll have a number of Xbox gaming systems that will include racing games and a steering wheel controller to give away.  Other big prizes may also be added, so stay tuned!  We’ll be joined by a local rock and roll band, and as always will have plenty of beer, wine, soda, and food to go around.  We’ll also have numerous interactive racing game stations set up for you to challenge the computer, or others at the event. “

The event will begin at 8:30pm Monday January 21st. Event location will be announced in an email to all registered CSWE’s about a week before the event, so if that applies to you, keep an eye out for an email with all the necessary information.  Registration for the event will take place on Monday January 21st around lunch time. There will be no CSWE T-shirst this year but you may be one of the lucky ones to walk away with an Xbox360, multiple racing games, and a steering wheel controller!

So, if you haven’t yet, I would strongly consider acquiring a CSWE certification before the event and be a part of the SolidWorks World 2013 Special CSWE Event. Finally, this is a networking event. You’ll be able to chat with the some of the top SolidWorks users, employees, tech support people, and executives in a very exclusive setting.

Join thousands of users from around the world to:

  • Learn: Choose from over 200 technical breakout sessions led by SolidWorks users and industry experts.
  • Network: Meet other SolidWorks users, Solution Partners, resellers, and SolidWorks employees.
  • Explore: Discover products and services from SolidWorks Partners that can help you tackle just about any design, engineering, and manufacturing challenge.

If you are first timer to SWW check this as “Why you should attend“. The new  SWW 2013 website will give you all the required details like Agenda, Location details (for checking near by hotels and the surrounding areas), registration, etc.
