3Dconnexion CadMouse: Zoom The Way You Were Meant To

With already having nice products for engineers throughout the world, 3Dconnexion is show casing it’s new product at SOLIDWORKS World 2015, the CadMouse, the first mouse for CAD professionals.

CadMouse combines powerful, ergonomic hardware and smart, easy-to-use software to provide a level of performance ordinary mice just can’t match, inside and outside the CAD environment.

With Intelligent Ergonomic Design The days of clicking the mouse wheel are over thanks to the 3Dconnexion CadMouse’s dedicated middle mouse button. It’s simply more comfortable and convenient to press than the scroll wheel. And because enhancing the way CAD professionals work, rest and play is in our DNA, we housed it in a stylish matte black and steel ergonomic design that supports your hand in a comfortable and natural position, hour after hour.

“We developed the 3Dconnexion CadMouse because CAD users asked us to,” says Antonio Pascucci, VP of products at 3Dconnexion. “We took the time to understand what they needed.”

With 3Dconnexion’s QuickZoom, you can effortlessly zoom in and out of your geometry with a single click of a thumb button.

With the 3Dconnexion CadMouse, you’re in complete control thanks to its advanced laser sensor. With 8200dpi and a poll rate up to 1000Hz(responsiveness of 1 millisecond) you’ll click exactly where you need to, when you need to. It’s the level of precision CAD professionals demand—and deserve.

“With the introduction of the 3Dconnexion CadMouse, we are excited to be meeting the demands of CAD professionals across a broad range of industries and professions,” Pascucci says.

“The icing on the cake is that CadMouse enables a new level of Two-Handed Power for our current customers. In other words, using a CadMouse together with a 3Dconnexion 3D mouse like the SpaceMouse Pro or SpaceNavigator makes it possible to interact with digital content in a way that wasn’t possible before.”
